A lovely older style piece with highly polished raw Nuggets of beautifully clear and precious Baltic Amber. Each is Bezel set in 925 Sterling Silver. There's a wide silver border around each with a dark oxidised tracking lying in between giving the bracelet a medieval or gothic appeal.
The Clasp also is the old hook type which some find easier to use. If the bracelet is a little loose, just press down on the clasp to close it a little.I love the Authentic Look and Feel of these Raw Nuggets, just lightly polished to give an attractive shine and enable you to see into the interior.
Baltic Amber was formed formed during the Eocene period, approx 44 million years ago, from the copious sap of now extinct Trees. This durable gemstone is soft, warm and natural to the touch. Amber has been prized throughout History for bringing luck, enlightenment and healing ( especially for breathing problems. ) It's also very popular to help babies through the pain of teething ~ like these.
Dominican Amber is equally Ancient and precious, whilst Copal is relatively recent and not regarded as Precious Amber.
